The right engine threw an error code. We had to sit for a bit  while the pilot shut it down and reset. In his words, this plane is just a big bunch of computers.

How do they accom modate your chair? Do they transfer you to a regular seat and put the chair in baggage or do they have an anchor spot for your chair?

I remember flying in a 787 for the first time (only time). I was really excited and then I got on board and realized “oh, aside from the fancy lighting, its just a like a normal plane.”

I can stow the chair in the closet if there is room. Turns out on this plane there was not. So I had to let them put it underneath. I don’t like that, but no choice.

They have a special aisle chair you transfer into to be dragged down the aisle to your seat. First on, last off.

All they really add is new toys and hopefully less noise. This one seemed pretty loud. Not as bad as an MD80.
